• went there today and it is EXCELLENT!! obviously the change of ownership was the key,, very family friendly, so polite, could nt help us anymore than they did...and very fast service...so plsd its my new local )

• Has since been taken over and is now spotlessly clean. Went in there for a meal with my husband and daughter and found the food clean and very tasty. Highly reccommended!!!!!!

• definately wouldn't recomend this place to friends.grubby servery, had to wait for the chef to finish texting on his phone before we were served, potatoes had been hanging around a long time awful dry rubbery taste, trays were greasy, cake/sweet fridge in the room was dirty and (i presume off duty staff) people seemed to be helping themselves from wearing coats etc! servery wasnt particularly inviting and seemed less than clean, as did the chef when he emerged, we did hear that it was poor there but decided to give it the benefit of doubt, now i know where it gets its bad reputation from, shame could be a thriving pub in its location!on the plus side the drinks were cold
