• Bank holiday weekend, motorway queues, needing a break we came off the motorway and found the Royal Oak. We were made very welcome, children too. Excellent standard of home cooked food with a nice selection. Some local Real Ales added to the experience for me. Bill was especially helpful with directions round Brisol to avoid some of the traffic. Forget the services, pull off and visit The Royal Oak. They did take make fun of my Birmingham accent though, but all in the best possible taste.
