• very pleasant and clean pub and eating area, the food was of a mixed quality, we extremly fat soaked chips as no other alternative to new potatoes was offered, the desert was good, however the service cancelled out most of the positives, we had finished nearly 20 mins and no one came to clear the plates, so we had to take the finished plates back , then our desert was forgotten and I had to go and enuire where it was as we had waited another 15 mins, to make things worse the pub was almost empty and the very friendly staff were too involved in the huge television screen rather than the service I hope this will not be repeated with other customers as it would be a great family place to go to.
