• Hi to Mike who says he found a black hair on a visit to the Fose and Crown on September 26th. If there are ever any complaints which is very rare all staff know to let me know and i will deal with it. As this did not occur and no member of staff has dealt with such a complaint i was wondering if you have the correct pub, Rose and Crown, Barlborough. I would be very grateful if you could reply or pop in to clarify and get to the bottom of this. Many thanks. Billy. Landlord

• Had steak there last night, was cooked as requested, chips were nice and home made, Onion rings had a massive dark hair in, when raised with staff was told I would receive a discount, then when paying I asked about it I was told it had been applied, using basic maths, and watching girl enter on the till this wasn't. Very disappointing, had hoped to start returning to the pub, still might, just not to eat again.

• Absolutly fantastic food,prsentation and portions very generous and the service very friendly and efficient and eager to please.This was our first visit but will make it a regular now.
