• Very happy with the food, but very disappointed with the waitress, we had a party of 14, the menu says a max of 6 for the buy 1 get 1 free she wanted 2 of our party to pay full price.14 people on a Tuesday night, COME ON who can turn that business down.

• mv visit to the rock was normally a very enjoyable experience as I have been on numerous occasions but my partner n I came on the 28/09/13 n it was appaling I was given my spring chicken in a white wine sauce that all I could taste was cheese though no cheese was actually mentioned in the menu it just looked like a pile o sick no presentation at all my partner got the fillet steak on a plate that to me was child size all his food was just heaped into a pile while he was trying to eat it it all just kept falling of onto the table he went back to the bar for more drinks and overheard the staff tellin whomever was serving us what we had had to eat we did expect a bill at the end of the meal but no he was asked to pay the food bill at that point I am very disappointed in a usually enjoyable experience £25 just for our meals and not includint the drinks we had I think we deserved better food and treatment I wont b going back again

• The Rock Inn is in a wonderfull location with amazing views,we go regularly for the 2-1 meals and have never been dissapointed, December month however it wasnt available which is understandable because there were lots of christmas parties going on, so anyone who wants a good home made substantial meal The Rock Inn is the place to go, there is a friendly atmosphere and good service well done to you all we will be back

• buyer beware, false advertising, 2 for 1 you must be joking. Next time I will look elsewhere.
