• Went here on the back of good recommendations from mates... Must say I must have walked into a different place... Advertised as a family freindly place with excellent food - they might as well have stated they were located on the moon and Scarlett Johansson was the owner - as none of it was true!! The food was appalling - wouldn't have served it to a dog if I'm honest. I'm not a fussy eater but the "meat" was pretty much gristle.. It was about as warm as Pearce Morgan's heart.. As for the rest of my visit - "family Freindly" and as advertised on facebook has baby changing facilities - when I asked the member of staff where they were so I could change my babies nappy I was told they didn't actually have anywhere but most people just lock the door to the toilet and do it on the floor... Or go out to the smoking area and do it on the bench!! To sum up this review rather then ever going back with my family id be better off going to my local smack den!

• great welcome at this very friendly no hassle pub,the food is great,and they also do carvery wed and thurs at only 3.95.we went there during the elvis festival,2010,and went back 2011,the entertainment was excellent,over the 3 days,with only a dj called glen or greg,and does that guy have some energy,as i said we went there again this year and it was even better!if you get to porthcawl this is the only place to eat.
