• shopped at riverside today,money well spent,all staff friendly and extremely helpful,for all their flooding problems and the way they come back, this is truly the spirit of britain, well done, will shop here again

• really disappointed with the poor customer service i received from this company after purchasing an artificial plant from them online.The plant feel apart after only one week,it is obviously a faulty product but after many emails with the company and the last one received from Leon in customer service having a very unhelpful attitude its obvious this company is not prepared to put this matter right.I intend now to accept i have lost the money i paid and i will put this unpleasant episode downt to experience. I have however learnt a very valuable lesson one must exercise caution when shopping online.I will now revert to my usual practice of shopping online with Amazon and Ebay 2 companies which can be trusted to give great customer service.I have bought 2 artificial plants from Ebay with no problems and free PandP so i shall buy my artificial oplants from them in the future.

• Really shocked & disappointed at the changes! What was a lovely little garden centre with a riverside cafe & nice little gift shop is now a cavernous, cold, damp place with no atmosphere. The cafe is gone & there is a restaurant instead which, laughably, has a huge bar & leather seating - but still the cheap & nasty garden centre entrance! Who's going to go all that way to have a posh meal in a garden centre?! Also, shocked to see stuff for sale which had clearly been rained on, plus patchy rain-damaged carpet. If they had the money to do the restaurant, they surely had the money to make the building warm & damp-proof! Couldn't see a single thing we would want to buy - a huge disappointment.We used to love this place but won't be going back. You can't make a silk purse out of a cow's ear!
