• Ordered a takeaway this eve told to collect at 7 Sat there untill 8 with lots of others waiting for takeaways,had already picked up chippy for rest of family which was now cold really disappointed just wish they had said the proper time as ruined our eve won't go there again .apparently this happens regularly

• Very disappointed with last nights take away, chicken korma quite bland and tasteless chicken tikka biryani nice but again the curry sauce quite bland keema nan was nice. Have never had a bad take away from here before so this was especially disappointing. Has put me off ordering future meals 😕

• The food is absoloutly brilliant. they biryani is wonderful and the staff are brilliant. they are all welcoming and the manager is really lovely. The food is UN-describable... best Indian food I ever had. I have got to recommend this restaurant to everyone. The restaurant is very beautiful and the inside is just so beautiful and modern.

• Had a takeaway from there the beginning of September with high expectations based on the reviews; was let down with the taste (lack of) and probably the worst Biryani I have had in 20 years of eating Indian food.

• We have been using Rice and Spice since it opened I run a local bed and breakfast and lots of my regulars eat there as well I have never had a complaint from any of them quite the reverse the food is wonderful service is first class I cannot fault it Highly recommend if you want good food sensible prices too.

• Disappointed who reviewed 114 days ago should be very careful what they put in writing. They don't know who writes the reviews and I think it is way out of order to say that Rice n Spice have written their own reviews - isn't it called libiase if you put accusations in writing (including the internet)!!!

• Very very disappointed. Service pathetically slow due to demand for takeaways (phone ringing almost continually).Took almost an hour to be served. Surrounded most of the time by people collecting or ordering takeaways. Food was OK but so fed up in the end I could not care less. Only pleasant thing was the young lady helping out, she deserves an MBE. The gentleman taking orders left his smile in India I think. Never again. Rename it to Curry no Hurry

• I do not believe for one minute they wright their own reviews, as we have had a fantastic service and real quality indian food, whenever we have visited. Sounds to me that backstreet restaurant in Ystalyfera is the person thats disappointed, they need to sort out their food hygiene, before commenting on a quality establishment like rice and spice. I highly recommend if your local, make sure this the indian you go to in the swansea valley, if you don't want to have food poisoning.

• Very mediocre. Currently a popular due to their featuring in the 'Best Curry in Wales' awards - it's amazing how far you can get when you write your own reviews

• Have visited Rice and spice on a number of occasions. Every time the food has been excellent and the staff and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
