"Lovely family village pub serving real ales, home made food and delicious homemade desserts. Open all day Saturday and Sunday. Monday to Friday we close at 3:00pm and reopen at 6:00pm. Food served 12noon - 2:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm daily. Saturday food served 12 noon - 3:00pm. Sunday lunch served 12 noon - 4:00pm"

• What a lovely pub, nice and clean had lots of work done to it. I live in the village and have seen a few different landlords and i have to say the new owners are young and very friendly. Just like their delicous new menu. They also have very friendly and polite bar staff and its nice to see them wearing a uniform. Keep up the good work to all.

• Excellent Country Pub. Somewhere nice to go after a hard days work or just to chill out with the family. New owners lovely and friendly will assist at all times. Food... quality and delicious and will return. Bar staff very friendly will always chat. Oh and for those reading this i am not easily pleased either. But the pub is a must try, i guarantee you will return.

• Lovely Sunday lunch - freshly home cooked potatoes and Yorkshires, good quality meat and good selection of tasty veg, all for £9. Also have great selection of beers. Really lovely couple run it, very friendly will be returning.

• Met new landlord who was excited about his new forthcoming menu - quality wellcooked local ingredients. We were keen to try - and a few weeks later were disappointed. Portions were small and veg very sparing - come on this is your chance hav eyou blown it???

• Waited with other customers this lunchtime (03/10/12) outside at 12.00noon in "beer garden".....as all was locked up. Chose not to wait any longer, so went to other nearby pub. Shant be returning !!!!
