• We were so happy to arrive at the pub after a long walk only until the hostess told us that they cannot serve us any food unless we made an appointment. There were empty tables obviously, but she just didn't want to welcome us as customers. She must know that that is the only pub running in the village, and we would be at a loss with our empty stomachs. Her attitude was just beyond unfriendly and so cold. We ended up enjoying the whole walk in the end, but it is such a shame that just one person with poor heart could leave people bitter memories of the village. Walkers, do not even try to go to the pub unless you want to make a booking beforehand better pretending to be a local.
