• We called in the Printers at 12:35 for lunch today, there were only two other couples in the pub, we sat down at one of many available tables to be met met with a waitress "have you booked a table?" No we answered, sat at a table for four, we were then asked, with a disapproving look, "how many are you?" two I replied. As she looked around the room at other tables set out for two "can I get you a drink from the bar?" No I replied, we would rather see the menu first. Left on our own for a while, we discussed a musty smell that was best described as an old peoples home and we decided to leave. On the way out of the pub we were met by the same waitress with two menus in hand, and we said sorry but we have decided to leave. The waitress in her anger slammed the menus down on a table, and we left. What a lucky escape, never again to be repeated, be warned!
