• Hi visited their restaurant in july and I ordered a biryani and chicken grill after waiting for so long he served me with smelly biryani full of oil.I couldn’t able to eat that one so I just threw it.Their grill was half cooked and rotten.So don’t ever go there.These people are the robbers don’t even accept card in order to avoid paying tax

• ] I and 3 friends were in Portree for some sight seeing and we went to the Prince for dinner after a long day , the restaurant has this cosy feel that is relaxing and overwhelms you positively.There was an amazing variety of items on the menu with drinks to match.The waiters were knowledgeable and guided our menu choice.We ordered pilau rice , peshwari nans and their balti chiken tikka kashmiri . It was simply delicious, the chicken was tender and mouthwatering! The nan bread had that oven fresh smell that reminds you of mums baking .The servings were quite generous .Overall, the food was hot , tasty and reasonably priced .It was so good , we all ordered a take away .Whenever were in Skye , well eat at the Prince of India and order a take away as well � so good we ordered a take away

• The Prince of India is a very pleasant surprise in Portree , you would not expect such a simple looking restaurant to have the impressive wine list it has - split between red and white - they have Italian, French and Australian wines to name a few . So, I ordered a bottle of Beaujolais. I was very pleased with the potato pakura I ordered as a starter while my main course was their specialty - Balti Jalfrezi - a hot dish as I like my food hot and spicy. The food was served in record time, wonderful aromas coming from the food feeding my senses as well as my stomach.Wonderful!! I also had a fried rice and a kima nan. Some restaurants you eat rice in , you feel like youre being poisined - at the Prince of India , the rice was soft and a delight to eat . The kima nan wasn�t bad at all .The waiting staff are all very polite and helpful , it is hard not to notice. I had a wonderful experience at the Prince of India and all reasonably priced
