Avoid Practical Car and Van Rental from Croydon at all costs... They are thieves!... The name of the staff that served me is Shafquat. Please read previous reviews about him before booking. I hired a van from them in July 2022 and all initially went well...
Fast forward to end of September, this company charged £142 to my card and claimed that it was for a PCN of £100 and admin fee of £42 without informing me in the first place.
Bear in mind, I didn't even get a PCN whilst I had the van.
I never got to see the Parking Charge Notice and even if one existed, I wasn't given an opportuntiy to appeal it...
I called the office and the phone was hung up on me, after the staff said there was a pcn and they have paid for it...and have already charged my card without first informing me.
I've never seen such blatant fraudulent behaviour in my life. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS THAT ARE CHARGING PEOPLE'S CARD THREE MONTHS AFTER VAN HIRE.Rating history and distribution
