• pig on the hill-After having are wedding booked with the pig on the hill for 8 month, we have been cancelled on. Waited 2month for menu, which never got. Staff kept saying they lost my number, wrote it down for them more then 4 times including email, which they had a could have contacted me on. USELESS! 6 months (1 month before invites to go out, and still waiting on menu) before the wedding got this email- Thank you for your email. As I am sure you know, your wedding is taking place on the Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. This will be an extremely busy time for the pub and we have therefore decided that we cannot host your wedding. I am sure you will find a more suitable venue and we should like to wish you good luck on your big day. Best regards The Pig on the Hill Wedding booked BEFORE the Jubliee date come out!, now having to run around trying to find a venue for Jubliee weekend (impossible) and may even have to cancel wedding all together! NIGHTMARE! STAY AWAY!
