• This pub is now called the Lord of the Manor. It is now a very well known place for good food, a varied menu, pleasant staff who are always willing to help. 05/04/2019

• Wouldn't have even given it 1 star if I didn't have to. Absolutely terrible. Should have left once I'd used the toilets- they were smelly, dirty and had a vending machine selling toilet seat covers which were classed as 'essential' that was obviously a warning! We ordered a jacket potato, BBQ chicken baguette and a meal for my daughter with 2 drinks, it came to £23! The food came quickly enough but was awful. The final straw was when my partner found a chicken bone in his sandwich. I showed it to a member of staff and the response we got was "that's cause it's chicken" at that point we decided to leave, we were offered a refund which didn't include the greasy chips that we paid extra for to go with the baguette or the drinks. So all in all we paid £9 for 2 drinks and some scabby chips. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!
