• I have visited this Inn many times. In the past I was happy with the food, but in the last 2 years it has really hit the rocks. The service from all the staff is wonderful, but the quality of food is truly dreadful. The last straw was cold slimy sea bass chock full with bones and scales, served with canned vegetables and horribly bitter potatoes. The hollandaise sauce was nasty, overly sweet and sickly. I felt genuinely ill. My son had a tiny portion of pasta bolognese, and my husband's haddock was also full of bones. Everyone I speak to has the same bad impression of the Pear Tree, Humberston. Do not come here to eat!
