• Been visiting Southerness on holiday since I was a kid, and in over 20 years I had never ate in Paul Jones Hotel, until this trip, and will definitely be returning on my 2 holidays with my dogs next year. I had the steak, which many places get very wrong, but the chef got my steak spot on. Beautiful. My mother got the scampi, sister got the lasagne, and mums friend got the macaroni cheese and all really enjoyed their meals, and agreeing that we should return next year.

• Went it for some food and ordered from the evening meal offer, the dining area hadn't been waned since the lunches as there was good under our table which we knew wasn't ours as we hadn't eaten yet. Food was poor, oven chips n frozen s fried fish, daughter had oven chips n frozen dippers. We gave it another try as we thought might just have been the offer menu that was rubbish , tried another evening , and although the food was cooked properly it did not deliver what the menu said. Based on the prices you can get far better food for the same money along the road. Wouldn't recommend , in fact the chip shop behind it is far better

• We have just returned from our stay at the Paul Jones Hotel, the staff are very friendly , food was lovely and thank you to Donna who is always very pleasant and great with the kids..

• stayed in the hotel at new year the staff were very friendly, food delicious and children were made very welcome, will be visiting this hotel again .
