• Fantastic place, a favourite of mine and my wife's. We've been a number of times and have never had any problems. Brilliant home cooked food, a gorgeous building and being it's 'family run' the staff are really friendly. Definitely our favourite place to eat in the area.

• me and my family went for a meal and straight away they were a dog roaming round barking and there was alot of rubbish outside no where to park and it was chilly inside and the decor was terrible plaster was comin away we spent alot of money in there you would assume that it was eligent inside but it needs a lot of work inside and out we wont be goin again it was very expenisve for what you got

• i think its a decent place but theres a dog wondering about and begging for food at our table but the prices are expensive for what you get and the beers are aswell £3 for a pint where the rising sun is 20 or 30p cheaper

• called for sunday lunch today, staff very helpful and friendly and helpful. Carvery meal, coffee and deserts, all very tasty and good value, everyone enjoyed will definitely make a regular spot to go.

• What a horrible place,smelly dog wondering around whilst we were eating.nowhere to park and the landlady looks like she slept on the floor.
