• Been using Pakefield Plaice for many years, travel here from across town, never had a bad fish and chips yet.

• We ignored reviews but to our peril. Place was clean and one member of staff was friendly, but food was very average for a fish and chip takeaway. Chips were soggy and not very tasty. Fish batter was great but fish lacked taste. Curry sauce was more like a drink if dishwater. Portions were not a bad Size but prices were high considering the quality, happily pay for good food. Not a place we will go again and talking to locals it seems that new management is a nail in the coffin for what was a great chippy !

• Excellent fish & chips at reasonable prices. This is my local ish, fish & chip shop and the best in the Lowestoft area.
