• The homemade steak pie and thick tasty gravy is a delight. I try to detour around lunchtime to call in.

• Friendly place and the home-made meat pie is first class. Never a lump of fat, bone or gristle like you get with Ginsters etc. Lean and tender with nice pastry and optional gravy.

• We've been going to Station fisheries now for 15+yrs. It's a 100+ mile round trip but believe it or not it's worth every drop of diesel. The fish and chips there are without any doubt the very best in the world. It's not over expensive and the haddock is of a good size. Homemade steak pie and lots of other food available and also cooked frozen fish to take home - a bonus if you live miles away. Take it from me - you will NOT find better fish and chips anywhere.
