• Typical old style bar which vanished in the 70's. If you like this type of pub then this would suit you. However, expect plenty of bad language from the customers (men and women) and even worse from the bar staff. The beer itself is good but I certainly wouldn't take my family there. I understand that Friday night is family night in the lounge which may be better but I would still have my concerns with the language. Very loud and rough pub and to be honest, I was glad to leave.

• A really great place to drink, eat and relax, especially in front of the real log fires. This pub has just won the first 'Wombourne Pubs in Bl;oom' competition, so many congratulations to Pete and Vicky.
