• The New Inn has new management and what a difference. Friendly and welcoming to walkers it is now on our walking club's list of pubs to visit after a long walk. Don't be put off by the past reputation give it a try.

• The New Inn has been the most horrible place I have experienced. The service was absolutely terrible and the hygiene was unforgivably revolting. They are constantly understaffed and the attitude they displayed was foul. Rust covered the majority of the toilet seat and sink, facilities malfunctioned and I caught a glimpse of a small shadow dashing across the wall, possibly a cockroach. I couldn't believe that you had to "donate" to go to such a toilet. Overall, I would give this a rating of minus infinity stars.

• We had had a meal there last night and the food was really good. You would have a job to eat it all there was plenty on the plate. The staff were very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend it.
