• For what I paid for the meal it was nothing special..all looks ok inside but I will give it a miss...not for me but others might like it.

• What a transformation! Food is first class, great selection of beers and wine, multiple-screen sports bar and large beer gardens. No fake wood decor, dead animals or roaring fires. Modern and a great place to go to relax. Staff are engaging and friendly. Congrats to all involved and well worth the wait for the opening.

• I was hoping that this beautiful old pub would have forged its links with the bird reserve and mining history. Its too modern and the owners have missed a trick in what could have been a rustic/modern twist renovation. No open fires!!!.Please change those curtains in the main restaurant. Food is nice but its a pub and needs to charge pub prices and will need to produce better dishes at those prices. lovely people and I am sure they will take on board the recommendations.
