• We came on Easter Sunday for lunch, however, we were sadly disappointed to say the least. The menu outside looked extensive, but this belied what was actually on offer. The girl behind the bar couldn't have been more friendly, and the three of us, along with our small dog, sat in the bar area. Although the place was practically empty apart from 3 other people, the only table available for us all to sit around, still had dishes from what looked like the breakfast time (we were eating at approximately 12:30) We were told that food would be about half an hour (we didn't mind as at least it would have been fresh - how wrong we were) One meal was so burnt I wouldn't have given it to a paying customer. The other 2 meals were mediocre and not that appetising, but just about edible, although we ate them purely for the fact we were all hungry. And then, to top it all off, a man came from the kitchen area,dressed as a chef, he asked how the meal was - I told him that mine was "burnt" and he could see the remnants of the meal left on my plate. To which he just simply said "sorry" and shrugged his shoulders. Despicable for an establishment to be offering such dire food to unsuspecting,paying customers. We will certainly be NOT returning to this establishment.
