• Went on the 8th of July with my family meals where awful ordered a starter and never got the proper order the staff are not bothered this pub has gone down hill it dirty floors are full of food toilet are a mess need I go on

• Been to the nags head Thornton on several occasions this year with work and also for family celebrations can't fault it plenty of choice on the menu at reasonable prices,staff pleasant and helpful had many enjoyable nights.

• Awful awful food. Not even worth the money go elsewhere. Staff dont even seem to be bothered when you complain, even when you say you wont eat there again. They shrug their shoulders in a I don't care attitude. Eat somewhere else.

• visited nags head on Sunday 26th Jan. at 4.30. ordered roast beef dinner. veg too hard, green beans like rubber, roast potatoes uneatable. After giving you my custom for many years I am very disappointed with the quality.

• Just got back, have been there numerous times over the years, will NEVER go again. We booked our meal 10 minutes later than others in our party and were told in no uncertain terms by an unfriendly member of staff to "read the notice" which explained that we wouldnt be getting our food at the same time as the others as a result. No effort to give us all our food together was considered by them. Not interested. Went to the bar after our meal and was told we couldnt order four glasses of coke because they olny sold it in pints! I explained that i had bought a glass of coke for my 3 year old granson about an hour earlier and was told "well you shouldn't have been sold it"!I told the barman i'd leave it then (ie not buy ANY drinks) and his reply?...."ok". Will go elsewhere from now on because lets face it it's nothing special anyway.

• Went to the Nags head in Thornton at 18.45 New years Eve with our 12 year old son. Have been visiting there weekly all year. "Bouncer" like chap who dressed in mufty was so so rude as if "What u expect to be let in with child..... Its New Years Eve ". Might as well said p.... off if ur a family! I was gobsmacked! We were expecting to have to leave anyway by the usual 21.00 hrs. For gods sake its a FAMILY Pub all year. Left and found other places that were happy to bring in the New Year with us!Wont be giving Nags head our buissness again in 2013 .

• THe staff at the Nags Head are excellant.My daughter had a fall with the baby on Thursday whils't running into the pub.The staff couln't have been kinder
