• Best chippy in Dovercourt! If you go at the right time. The fish is nice and fresh,you get a good sized portion and you wait while they cook it. The chips are not the tasteless powdery variety you find elsewhere they're very tasty. Unless you're unlucky enough to be there when its not busy then theres a tendency to reheat ones left over and then they can taste like cardboard. They lost a star from me for that practice and its possible they loose customers. Go there when its busy and you'll be served lovely freshly cooked food.

• Terrible! Not tried this chippy yet since moving to the area 10 months ago and can safely say this is the first and last time I will. Chips seemed to be just like frozen supermarket ones, and suspect that they were! Did not enjoy one bit. Lesson learnt there!
