• I went into Morrisons supermarket today. (Wednesday 14th Aug 2013) I did my shopping and went to a proper checkout. (I loathe self service ones) The blond haired lady called to another lady and said put these through the self service checkout as I am going off service. Time was 7-45am. I said no, I hate self service and went to look round and waste some time while another proper checkout opened. After half an hour another checkout opened and I went to that one, All this time the original checkout operator was working serving lots of shoppers. At the newly opened checkout I had no problem at all. There was a lady who was very nice and helpful. Moral of the story is why do certain Morrisons staff just tell blatant lies just to lure me to self sevice checkouts. This is the last time I go in early. I will go in between 9am and 7pm when I know there will be proper checkout operators on, or alternatively the local COOP. Since Sir Ken Morrison retired, this supermarket has gone downhill. Not super anymore. No wonder profits are down. Can we have USA type service in UK please???
