• am writing regarding the above driving instructor and his complete incompetence. My daughter had her driving test today she had booked it with Phil Traies on the 8th of January so several weeks before. It was inexcusable that he turned up 45 minutes late for her pre driving lesson prior to her test. He did not call her nor did he answer or return any of my three phone calls, my two texts or my daughters text to find out where he was! My daughter is a day boarder at a boarding school and as such the school has expansive grounds so finding her within the grounds would have been difficult meaning that she had to wait outside at the said meeting point for 55 minutes ( she was 10 minutes early as she presumed he was also going to be early - due to the fact it was her test!!). My daughter after he eventually arrived was then only able to have five minutes practice before her test. She was a nervous wreck - cold and extremely stressed. She felt it was due to this that she made two silly mistakes and failed her test. The driving instructor has just called me and told me that he was stuck in a car wash and then stuck behind a police car so he could not call me or answer my calls ( hands free?) and that is why he was late?? Please avoid at all costs!!!!!!
