• My partner just popped in for a drink - and wasn't really made particularly welcomed. He obviously interrupted a conversation between the bartender and the regulars, and was made to feel that his custom wasn't welcome. He couldn't down his pint fast enough to get away. Was surprised as the pub was in an tourist/caravan area and mistakenly thought it was geared for the tourist trade. Got the feeling that the pub was a good one - but for local residents and regulars. Shame - the reviews from others were great.

• this small village pub has turned into a little gem with the new owners.They are working extremely hard and have brought the bpub back to life again. There are reasonable bar snacks, and lovely tasty curries.Service is spot on.
