I had the misfortune of using this chap for a garden fence job recently.
Nightmare !!
Despite having explained how I want the fence to look like, he wouldn't follow and simply did the job the way he liked.
Poor workmanship and unsightly !!
Skipped a piece of rail here and another there; wood posts cut to random heights; one nail at each location instead of the usual 2 or 3; fence line drifted from the boundary by more than a foot at the worst location !
My gentle complaint was met with a flood of swear words !
Eventually, I had to spend 3 days fixing some of problems myself.
My advice : Choose someone who knows his trade, or you could end up having a bad experience.
Worse, the value of your house could be depreciated by the poor workmanship ! Rating history and distribution
