• Don't bother if you are looking for a leisurely relaxed dining experience.... First of all we were served a bottle of wine with an ice bucket with no ice or water in it!?!? We had to actually ask for the ice and water. ODD. Then right as we were in the middle of eating our starters and chatting the waiter came over to take our main course order!?! REALLY ODD. (It was only 20.30 not midnight) Not one of the five waiters hovering at the bar poured ANY drinks for us all night and we were the only table in there. SERIOUSLY ODD. The food was OK quite tasty & not swimming in ghee but I spent the whole evening looking for hidden cameras ... waiting for Jeremy Beadle to pop out and tell us it was all a big joke. But he never did......

• The Food was nice and of a good quality, unfortunately in a half full restaurant, we still had to wait 1 hour and a half between our starters and main course. The staff were not well trained, nor that polite. Our total drinks bill was more than what we paid for the food, this place is probably better value as a takeaway, because when you go in there it seems they just want to keep you waiting for food to fill up on expensive drinks. This is what the staff seem to be trained in. Very unlikely to go back there anytime soon for a meal, one of the worst restaurants for service in the whole of southend.
