• Arrived promptly at 8am on a Saturday morning with an 8 and 12 year old after the youngest had done the month before with his grandad for a midweek hair cut. Mark was already with a customer, the door was locked and when he opened the door it was like a bad extract from Royston Vasey. I was promptly told that cuts are “by appointment only” and to “book online”. Taken aback we returned to the car and I looked it up online to see if we could get booked it. Nothing, only reviews. I popped back to the shop and asked what the site was and he pointed to his sign - Mark’s Barber shop. Now, I’m no web geek but even I know that’s not how it works! I mentioned that the youngest had been a month ago as I walk in and he, in short, said it was impossible. So, it turns out the man must be rolling in it to turn away customers and lies to boot! I’d give it a swerve in future as I don’t really like liars - but that’s just my opinion on the matter.

• Brilliant barber , good talker about different topics. prices are affordable to every one . poor as a church mouse as he tells you, with his tongue in cheek.

• If you can take constant put downs,lots of small talk about nothing then this is the place to go..other than that he is good at his job
