• Horrible service. The first time I went I got eggs benedict and it was served without hollandaise sauce. Not to mention the mistakes in the other two orders from our table. I tried it once more and once again got the Eggs Benedict and chips. After waiting for about 45 minutes, our food finally arrived! When they sat down the little bowl of chips my friend quickly warned me not to eat them. Upon closer inspection, we saw that hair had been literally wound around a few of the chips; as if it had been tossed in the bowl right along with the salt. Nasty! My eggs benedict also did not include more than a teaspoon of hollandaise sauce. We got the waitresses attention after five minutes or so, there were only about 8 other people in the restaurant. When the waitress came over she took the offending chips and agreed to bring back some extra hollandaise for our eggs benedict. Moments later, the owner of the restaurant came charging out of the kitchen to our table HOLDING THE HAIR BETWEEN HER HANDS! I am serious, she had the hair between her two hands, upset with us for accusing them of putting hair in our food. She told us that no one working at the restaurant had blonde hair (while looking sternly at me and my blonde hair) and it couldn't possibly have come from them. All the while, the other eight customers were looking at our table in shock that this woman was saying this to us. The three of us resisted the urge to point out the fact that the owner, and the waitress who had been serving us BOTH had blonde hair. Instead, I told her the chips had been put down on the table, they had not been touched so it would be impossible for my hair to float onto them and wrap around the chips and we had called the waitress over as quick as we could. The owner proclaimed that she would 'replace them anyways' and went back to her kitchen. Remember that hollandaise sauce? We still hadn't got it. We waited and waited then finally our fresh chips came out! Still no sauce. We got the waitresses attention again and asked if we could get some sauce. No apology or anything, she went and came back a couple minutes later with a little pot of sauce. Before she even put it on the table, I spotted a hair lingering inside the container. I put my hands away from the table and told her that their was a hair in it before it touched the table as to avoid being accused of sabotaging the meal again. Back she went and returned minutes later with hairless sauce. The other patrons in the restaurant were talking about how ridiculous the whole thing had been - even going so far as to get our attention to talk to us about it across tables! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the girl I was with had ordered fresh fruit and cereal. She got cereal with freeze-dried fruit and milk in a side pot with no spoon. Absolutely ridiculous, terrible customer service.
