• Absolutely shocking and awful service! Please avoid this Estate Agents - but if you are an existing purchaser make sure you ask for a PROOF confirming they have all relevant paperwork to put a property for sale to avoid delays when offer is accepted. We've been trying to buy a house for 6 months and we was lied to. Our offer was accepted next day after viewing. We were told that we are in a good position because we are first time buyers and a house is chain free and seller was looking to sell 'fast'. Following week after offer was accepted they called us to say that the seller had a much higher offer and unless we can offer more for now our offer has been rejected. We couldn't believe it I started to question how this is even possible is this even within the law? They then said that they will speak to the seller and let us know. They then called few minutes later to say that they seller will have a think and that they will get back to us. They called next day to say that our offer has been accepted (I was surprised that seller decided to choose 'lower offer' over "much higher offer). Any way we supplied everything within days to Estate Agents and Solicitors of course and got a mortgage offer within 3 weeks however we've never seen a copy of memorandum of sale (that supposed to be send by Estate agents to our Solicitors and us). Everything was kept a secret. We were not aware who was sellers Solicitors until we've found out ourselves. We was ignored when asking Mckale for help when things were taking long. Calls been never returned. Only reply from Mckale Estates for one email was that - THEY ONLY PUT A PROPERTY ON THE MARKET (that's their only job). I was shocked how rude and unprofessional this response was. I personally went to the agency to ask if there was a problem with this property hence why no Contact Pack was received etc (this was almost 4 months after sale was agreed and mortgage was in place). I was assured that theres is nothing we should be worried about. Long story short. Please be careful this Estate Agents are not professional. Staff at McKale is very unhelpful, unprofessional and not welcoming at all. Advertising themselves as family business to the point when you walk on to the place and a girl is too busy with her mobile phone to say hi. I wonder how they sleep at night. PLEASE AVOID
