• I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and his family some time ago. The place seemed lovely to begin with - pleasant staff, nice atmosphere - until I went to the bathroom. Due to certain physical attributes which I'd been self-conscious of my whole life, I had been very picky with the restaurant we went to. We had looked at four others in the area that day but due to the number of men in there we had decided it would be better to go elsewhere. With dominantly female staff in an otherwise empty restaurant, Mamma Mia seemed like a very comfortable bet. When I got up and went to the toilet, every single staff member watched me enter and leave. They stared at my all night, and when they thought I wasn't looking actually made gestures to one another that were quite obviously to do with my physical attributes - and no, I wasn't being paranoid. I had seen others come into the restaurant, people who were regulars judging from the relationship between them and the staff, but as soon as their backs were turned, the staff began to make fun of their weight. None of us could believe it. Needless to say, if you're not too confident with yourself, this won't be a particularly pleasant place to dine. Otherwise, I admit that the food was very good, and the decor was lovely, but the staff honestly made the whole experience terrible.
