• Since may i have been the new chef at the load of hay and i have never had one complaint and always get nothing but compliments so i suggest you come and try the food again as we are one of the best pubs around for food and especially on Sundays and its still very much gay pub

• It is listed as a gay venue, dont be fooled because it really isnt. food standards have dropped with raw chips. Prices have increased since new owners. I have been going for 8 years now every week, i now will not bother as i feel very uncomfortable as a gay person. The little pub has so much potential as a gay pub and was doing brilliantly as a gay pub so why change it?
