• Absolutely shocking! Never been to this kfc before, but was passing so pulled in. Firstly ignorant rude staff! Sencondly the place was filthy! Thirdly there was two dead flys in my 3 year olds food box!! Fourthly ordered a tub of ice cream with child's meal, to be given it and told 'no spoons' ! My response was how is he suppose to eat it then? Rude ignorant girl...'well I don't know do I'!!! .....never ever will I return!! Vile!!

• Floor and tables liberally covered in debris, bits of chicken, spilt gravy and grease. Chips were cold. Attitude of staff appalling. Gents toilet was unclean and drier did not work. This was about six weeks ago and with a bit of luck, this health hazard of a place should be shutdown.

• Absolutely appalling the worst kfc iv been too !! ignorant staff and both our orders were wrong after waiting for ages for food !! Not even worth 1 star.

• Visited on 17th July - very disappointed with food & with service. Staff serving seemed totally disinterested in serving us & didn't smile once! Food lukewarm & not offered sauces. Would definitely not recommend & will not be going back!

• Called in at about 9 pm, the place was empty, one member of staff was mopping the floor he left the mop came straight to serve never washed his hands, I ordered three pieces of chicken and chips, by the time I got home I keep it thinking about this lad touching the chips with his hands, well I made a decision and the full kentucky meal ended in the bin

• Just popped in today about 3 o clock pm place was very quiet. When ordering our food the person taking the order was not very polite and looked like he could'nt be bothered to take the order . When we got the meal drinks were not with them yet the person who took the order was adament he had given us them. This place has really gone down hill.

• I used to work at this kfc and quit in december due to being understaffed and a new manager who was absolutley useless, i was the best worker at this place doing drive thru and front tills at the same time and it used to be half decent now they are employing 16yr olds for cheap labour, the place is going really downhill wouldnt be suprised if it were shut down soon!

• Been in a few times now, when its quiet its kept clean, it seems there are never enough staff to cover all the jobs needed. from what i have seen though the problem with the dirty tables seems more to do with lazy customers not bothering to empty there OWN tables

• Absolute disgusting. No coffee machine working, small chicken portions then food poisoning for 3 days. Unfortunately binned the left over or I would have reported them to environmental health. Also exit is a death trap waiting to happen. Avoid this place or pay the cost.

• Would not recommend service is terrible, got our order all wrong 3 times. Staff seemto have no idea what's going on, whoever manages this site needs to seriously sort out the staff.

• Would not recommend anyone to use the drive through at KFC mellor brook, the customer service was appauling it took them 20 mins to get my order ready to the point I had to park up and go in and request where my order was. No appoliges & they was extremely rude and unhelpful at the counter I would not go their again. When I eventually got my order it wasn't as hot as it should of been very dissapointed I expect better from KFC.

• Disgusting! Dirty tables with food debris underneath. Wet and dry drink spills on the floor too, obviously not seen a brush and a mop in quite some time. The one highchair was encrusted with grime. We asked a staff member to clean our table and highchair. He came out with a roll of blue tissue and sanitiser and proceeded to clean a table furthest away from us, left the cleaning items on a table and went outside. We and several customers after us had no option but to clean our own areas! Staff were non communicative and sullen and while I was being served a drive through customer came back in to complain of missing items from her order. She was not even given an apology. I asked for the paper plates to eat our meal from, and was told they had run out and given paper bags for the children to eat from. Have not eaten kfc for years and unlikely to do so again and certainly not here! Needs a visits from food safety as if this is the standard of the customer area, what is the back area like!!

• Wouldn't have even gave it a star, as you have to i'll give it the lowest rating! been here a few times. Do not know why horrible!! Tables dirty, Floor dirty, Toilets dirty.. Only 2 members of staff that actually smile and offer some sort of customer service, Always giving wrong orders and bland food! What has happened to this KFC since it reopened, Used to be the best in the country now it's a disgrace, Way under staffed to meet business needs, The members of staff that seem to be in charge always yelling at the top of there voice at staff in a very unprofessional way, I wouldn't think to speak to my children the way the management speak to there staff, Will not be visiting this KFC again. Only actually visit as it's just round the corner from my home, Fries always cold. Things need to change before the place goes under!!!

• disgusting! filthy tables filthy floors filthy toilets not even busy but nobody cleaning up no staff (only taking orders) if i was an enviromental officer i would have had it shut down. I felt physically sick when i came out

• Just been to this kfc, missed 8 hot wings that were paid for off the order, only realised when I got home, customer service skills severely lacking and all the staff had a very laid back, lazy and jovial attitude to work, won't be going here again

• Went to this KFC on the 18/12/12 we use this one regular. When we walked in the place didn't look clean As there was food on floors and table but yet no one was sat there. I went to order food whilst my partner and daughter sat at table. Whilst waiting for the food there was a guy taking orders for the drive thru , I was quite shocked that a customer was placing a order and after a few mins he turned his head set off and asked another member of staff what had he ordered( this makes you wonder why Ppl get missing or wrong orders!!). When my food was ready I sat with my family and started eatting the 12 piece boneless box. We had a piece of chicken each(total of 3 pieces) and as I got another piece there was a black hair on the fillet, I went to take it off as I did think it was my hair but to my discuss it was bedded in the coating!!! My partner asked to speak to a manager who offered to refund or replace the food. I opted for replace as we was hungry esp my 4 year old daughter. The lady behind the counter came to us at our table with 3 fillets which we wasn't impressed so my partner took it back to her explained we was having all our meal replaced, she then came over with a small gravy chips and small pop corn chicken. By this stage I wished I'd of asked for the refund as I felt insulted! My partner then explained it a 3rd time to her to only recieve 9 fillets . I can honestly say due to how we was dealt with the situation I am never going back customer service skills needed as I'm one unhappy insulted customer !!!

• Visited today with my family asked for a table to be wiped down prior to ordering food When food was delivered to our table asked again for table to be cleaned the assistant then returned with napkins for my daughter to do the tables Not the best image for your restaurant When we left the dust bin was full to overflowing every table had waste food and empty cartons on them the floor also needed a good sweeping Prior to refurb a member of staff was always on hand to clean up this seems to be a thing of the past

• Not having had a KFC takeaway for about a year I was realy looking forward to this as an Easter treat after a hard day's walking. What a disappointment! What has happened to the unique flavour of KFC? My husband had the original meal (minus 1 piece of chicken - we ordered and paid for 3) - tasteless. Myself and granddaughter ordered the chicken strips (usually delicious and of the same quality as original chicken - no flavour). As for the fries, well, what can I say. They were the worst fries I have ever had, rubbery and totally lacking in any flavour. Maybe if we'd been given the gravy we paid for (missing) we could have made the fries taste of something but I seriously doubt it. Unless some drastic improvement is made I'm afraid we will no longer visit. I wondered why it was so quiet. It used to be queued out of the door at weekends and Bank Holidays.
