• I think my first review has been deleted,so I will try again.Went here on Tuesday 7th. August and was shocked at what occurred.Shop advertises it is open until 8pm. 5 of us arrived at 7.30 to find a very untidy restaurant with chairs up on table ready to close.Not a problem as we wanted a take away anyway.The staff member asked us to choose from the menu and several other people behind us were given the same instructions.We then started to order and he says that he only has a few bits of chicken left and cannot do anything we want.So we left without food and didn't go back.When I got back to our holiday home,my daughter said she went into the same KFC earlier in the evening.The same person said he had no chicken cooked.He was persuaded by my daughter and other customers to cook food but didn't cook enough for the requirements of the people there,so she and her group also went without food and left and didn't go back. I really enjoy eating KFC and would have gone back again if we had got decent food and service.We got bad service and NO food.This place needs sorting out urgently.The staff need to understand that opening hours mean hours you are open selling food and the last hour is not spent trying to stop selling food.KFC is a great brand,but this branch lets them down badly.

• If I had a Choice I wouldn't even give them one star. Very untidy,Food over cook and staff isn't well dressed or well manned. Although afterwards found a lovely coffee shop called Brambles just up the road with friendly staff and lovely food. It worth a visit to Brambles instead of KFC.

• Had a few experience with Minehead KFC have to say they wasn't great ever. Firstly England was playing and members of public outside was blowing on hooters so a member of staff was swearing(7 times) at them also the hygiene was very poor. Second time the food didn't taste great very over cooked and wasn't suitable for eating.

• They clean the crushems machine 10mins before they close. Kids were very disappointed

• Just gone there after they closed last year. VERY small portion of chips and dried up chicken.Last time they were open, I got food poisening. Other KFCs seem to be fine it's just the Minehead one that is really bad.

• The two previous comments are very true and exact, it is now April 2012 KFC Minehead is about to re-open, we will be hoping of a complete change of personel, thus creating a busy KFC and a fast food out let that would'nt need to close in the Winter!! (A review to follow!!)

• friday 8th april 2011, MINEHEAD kfc, why is it that every time we go there we don't get every thing we order,so we pay for wot we don't get, we have been there about4 times and it just gets worse every time, and the servise is poor, never get anything like this in other kfc's we visit,

• Friday 4th March. Just arrived back from a twelve mile rpund trip to get a kfc. Got to the Minehead store at 7.50 to find it closed. No reason given, the staff would not open the door and give us any info. Very poor.
