• I employed kevin Naish trading as as Birchwood builders to undertake a building project. I need to let people know about my experience. At the moment I am in the process of informing the police about his work practices. Firstly after paying first invoice he stated this was a deposit and refused to continue unless we paid again. Secondly the work carried out has now been reported to trading standards and will be reported to HSE as a dangerous structure. Kevin has charged for work not done and upon refund request is refusing to respond to messages, he hid dangerous structural issues, he put load bearing walls on top of clay, the list goes on and on, our structural engineer stated it’s possibly one of the worst examples of bad workmanship he has seen, I have a written report from building inspector that states the issues are solely created by poor standards of workmanship, Kevin cut corners and left my project in a dangerous condition, when issues were highlighted to Kevin, in front of witnesses he became abusive to my wife and aggressive, I was over charged, I have now had to have all of Kevin’s work taken away and am documenting the dangerous practices put in place be Kevin, I have a catalogue of evidence should anyone like to see.
