• on going nightmare. You have been warned Formby Builders Ltd. quoted (£35k) to start on 19 November 2018 taking 8-12 weeks. Works included garage conversion - not started re-wire- not a third done internal walls removal- uneven finished and gaps to ceiling and floor bathrooms renovated. Not complete with leaks plastering – incomplete patch job skirts- not done doors and frames- not done kitchen fit- half done with mistakes flooring- unfinished, December and the electricity supply disconnected. trailing power lead around the house to use lamps and a microwave. (still disconnected now in July) home in shambles. delayed works constantly with excuses. . Forget trying to get in touch with him. Since Friday 12 July he has gone to ground. He will not reply to my attempts at communicating with him. Been over 8 months now and I have paid him in full as he demanded. taken £35k of my pension. I am left very vulnerable now without a roof and no proper electricity since December 2018.
