• I've just returned from another very pleasant weekend's stay at the 'Green and wholeheartedly endorse all the positive comments given here. Kate, Adrian & the team are doing an excellent job - long may it continue!

• I've stayed here twice and the reviews are clearly for somewhere else. The Inn on the Green at Wentnor is a fantastic place, it has a very good standard menu plus many blackboard specials, these are all superb quality, the majority of the food is home made and all nicely presented and served with a smile. The other reviews must be for the other Inn on the Green (fairly close too!) so please don't be put off visiting the Wentnor Inn on the Green (I am not in any way related to the Inn on the Green, or the owners, but I'm a very happy customer who realises that reviews need accuracy!!)

• Have had the pleasure to eat at the Inn on the Green several times, on each occasion it was superb, in particular their sunday lunch. Stayed there for the first time last week with my wife. The room was excellent, as was the home cooked breakfast the following morning. Nothing was too much trouble. An absolute pleasure. Thank you very much

• 14 of us Went to the Inn on the Green for a special meal of which some had traveled miles to be there. We were all very disappointed five of us had to change our choices of food for the main course and 3 of us had to change for the desert as they had run out of food even though the table was booked over a week before we went, won't be going back again.

• Had the misfortune of eating there last weekend. The description on the Shropshire Tourism Website is complete fantasy! Food comes out of a box and reheated despite their claims of home-made, home-cooked, locally sourced produce. Service was shocking. No starters on the menu, over an hours wait for food to arrive and four of the party had to change their choice as they'd run out! Food was poor quality, only plus point was it was cheap, but you really do get what you pay for.
