Owner description of Ian Darnbrook ADI
"DVSA Approved Driving Instructor."
Absolutely disgusted by the unprofessional nature of this company. I booked my lessons 9 days ago. I explained to the person I booked with that I ride motorcycles but have no experience with cars . I was told that it was fine and would still qualify for the first time driver discount of 10 hours for £99. Great.
My driving lesson was yesterday at 2pm. 2pm came and went so I called the instructer who informed me that I wouldn't be having my lesson today because the car was in for repair. I was pretty annoyed at this point because it took me having to call him rather than him calling me which is the way it should have been. I was about to rebook my lesson with him when he then told me that I was no longer entitled to the first time driver discount because I have experience on the road on a motorbike. What that has to do with first time driver I will never understand. I put a complaint in and the MD proceeded to call me and try to defend the instructers decision.
You had 8 days between me booking my lesson and the lesson day to tell me I was being discriminated against when it came to the discount. You also should have called me first thing yesterday morning to inform me that my lesson had been cancelled.
Incompetent, highly unprofessional and I would not recommend this driving school to anyone.
