• This company really is one to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We hired a van which was in appalling condition, filthy, smelly and broke down almost immediately leaving my husband in a very dangerous condition on the M4. This is a 'Self-serve' company which means the vans are parked on the side of a random road, so if something goes wrong or you need further help you have to ring the call centre. Unfortunately the 3 times I had to call them I was left in a phone queue for nearly 40 mins - every single time. After spending nearly 2 hours in total on hold, waiting for my call to be answered I finally got through to someone and was told I could expect a full refund that day, and over a week later they still haven't refunded the payment! I was also promised a member of the senior team would call me the following business day, and there was no call! I even called back again (another 40 mins on hold) to chase payment and speak to a senior person, and guess what, no call back, and no refund! They really couldn't give less of a stuff about their customers if they tried. So please don't waste your time and money. Oh BTW I've since hired a van from Sixt who were brilliant and cheaper too!
