• went to the hume arms 29-11-2015 one of the starters had not been prepared properly ie garlic mushrooms but no garlic sauce waitress took it away anr returned some 10 minutes or so later with the same starter but with a small jug of garlic sauce.had roast beef not impressed ,roast potatoes not cooked properly a bit soggy not crispy,vegtables were a mush,will not rush back very disappointed with the quality of the food presented , the staff were very obliging and helpful though

• went to the hume arms for my birthday was nice and quiet the waitress was lovely and the food was excellent and good value for money

• We had dinner at the Hume Arms lunchtime today the young lady waiting on us was exceptional as was the food and hospitality. We can wait to go again next time we are in the area.

• I have been to hume arms since the new owners took over had an excellent meal staff are really friendly and a very cosy atmosphere loved every minute off it
