• The Horse and Groom in Gosforth Cumbria is a pub to avoid!Very rude and sarcastic bar manager. We understood that it was under new management but we didnt expect to be greeted by a Basil Fawlty !We were there for Sunday lunch yesterday and spent 85 for four of us.The bar manager was sarcastic when we walked in and on leaving was very rude to my daughter and grandaughter.I was in the loo at the time and missed the leaving comment but I know for sure that we will NEVER return to the Horse and Groom in Gosforth.Basil Fawlty! you are an idiot.
