• I do not rate charging £3.95 for three miniature sausage rolls and a large pot of wholegrain mustard as value for money. I actually asked one of the bar staff how they justified charging this price. She said she would tell the manager. It was an insult. Will not be visiting again.

• Visited last night with friends. Superb meal all round.Vegetarians were offered special dish which was superb.Staff were wonderful, attentive and smiling. Well done!

• Recently moved to the area (August 2011) and tend to go there for a meal most Friday evenings. My husband and I have not had a bad meal yet. Portions are huge and the food has never failed to be tasty. Great value for money.

• Following a previous bar meal what was ok we thought we would try the carvery? What a joke the meat had been bought in pre sliced and small slices (2 given)this was a big dissapointment! Take a tip and go some where else who do's a real carvery with real joints.

• Tried bar meal previously it ws ok. Just tried so called carvery pre sliced packed beef/pork it was rubbish try some where else for a real meat carvery will not be trying again take a tip go somewhere for real carvery!!! :-(
