• I went to the hook and eye last Thursday for their open mic night, after hearing rumours in Aberdeen that it is attracting some new talent. The atmosphere was fantastic, and a really welcoming mix of people; busy yet intimate. Definitely a good night out had by us.

• Will not be visiting again. 05/05/2012 - evening, poor hygiene standards in the ladies toilets, no toilet paper in any of the cubicles, no hand soap, no paper towels. Plus smelly.
