• I can't believe the horrible reviews some idiots have written. The Hippodrome secondhand shop has been going since 1992 and is an absolute fantastic place and Connahs Quay is a better place for it. People shouldn't hide behind putting a place down by writing a review you should say it to his face. The Hippodrome has served Connah's Quay proudly and continues to do so in my opinion. 6 out of 5 stars I say. Long may you continue.

• This furniture shop is an embarrassment. The trampy things he sells are of a very poor standard. The man that owns the store appears to be abusive towards his children and customers.

• Love having a rummage in the hippodrome ,had loads of bargains and old furniture ,they don't make it like that any more ,beats flat pack furniture anyday !
