• Hugo at The Half Way House prepares an excellent breakfast and it is accompanied by probably the best coffee in Farnham. The layered latte is superb

• Don't know what the the Gentleman below had been taking before he ate the burgers but I'm very fussy about my food and I thought the burger was a 1st class in quality. I've been back in recent weeks and apparently due to customer feed back they have increased the chip portion size which I found almost to much to be honest, and I'd had the last burger so they must sell well! Working away for a few months so can't get back soon :( But the other half has promised to take me there when I get back :)

• I had the burger and chips on Sunday 15/7/2012. The food came out on a very small bit of wood; like a chease board. The burger meat looked like a cheap tesco econmy pack of 20 for 1.99 which was over cooked. The service from the young pretty girls was good. Will not eat there again.

• Wouldn't recommend eating here.Firstly my dinner was served containing hair, then secondly the chef was very rude about my complaint regarding the food HE had cooked minus a hairnet ( he had long hair). Very awkward unfriendly atmosphere. Only exception was a very friendly barman.
