• The Green man at Swindon may not be the poshest pub around but it has plenty of character which results in it being a good oldfashioed pub that believes in value for money food,and i cant believe someone said the superb pork sandwiches were not what they expected,saying the pork is cut too thick.?in fact the pork is succulant and cut to a generous amount that more than fills the super thick bread,which in turn holds the sandwich together and adequately soaks up the stuffing and gravy to make a perfect tasty sandwich..with a choice of a little crackling on the side if desired..its a great value sandwich for just £3..that, and a perfect pint of banks mild for £3'05,what more can you ask for..put those with a team of friendly staff that cant help you enough,and a very pleasant gaffer and his mrs,it all adds up to a very affordable and enjoyable dinnertime..me and a mate have a pork/beef sandwich and a banks'mild regurlarly and have never had any qualms....other meals look of great value too,and far from overpriced at todays prices....ahh well you cant please everyone i suppose..!!

• Beautiful Views along the Canal, to end up at The Green Man, Absolutely Amazing Delicious Food, Great Cup of Coffee too, Great Friendly Staff too, We were on a visit From Scarborough, North Yorkshire to Visit the Area Of Hinksford where My Mother & Father Lived For Years..
